Previous brands I have purchased were so long, I had to add holes and have all this extra slack at the bit, so I ordered short Shallow Creek reins which were just a touch and I mean barely too short. Exchanged for medium length and I swear I took them up as far as they go and they were still too long. I had to take the snap off of one side to get them short enough to run. Otherwise, they are soft reins and feel great in the hands.
